Discover
The Hague

A getaway in The Hague means plenty of space around you, with a beach, expansive dunes and large parks in combination with the cultural wealth of the city.

Scheveningen, Kijkduin, the Zuiderstrand in between: the 11 kilometers of coast always give The Hague something extra compared to other Dutch cities. The unobstructed view of the horizon, the fresh sea air and the tough surfers evoke an un-Dutch holiday feeling for four seasons. Eating out in the harbour, strolling along the boulevard, and enjoying the sunset at a beach bar in the evening. You will find it all in The Hague, the city by the sea!

With thousands of hectares of dune areas and parks, the coast of The Hague offers plenty of space to enjoy freedom and nature. In the coming years, the Dutch dunes National Park will also create a 43 kilometers long continuous coastal landscape in South Holland, which includes Meijendel and the Westduinpark. The city center of The Hague is perfect for a day of shopping. The shops are open seven days a week. Well-known department stores and retail chains such as the Bijenkorf are within walking distance of trendy fashion boutiques and concept stores.
